Product Story:
The wavy, flame-like rim on this hand-blown vase is a Murano signature: the fazzoletto, or handkerchief vase, invented in 1948 by Venini and widely made across Murano workshops in the decades after.
No sticker on this piece (Murano labels rarely survive the decades), but its silhouette, craftsmanship and colorway closely match verified Murano vases of the same era.
This hand-blown art glass features waves of sky blue and white mimicking waves breaking against the shoreline. It has a whimsical shimmer that dances in the light.
This would work as a striking stand-alone centrepiece, candle holder, or improbably elegant planter. A pink companion piece is also available; the two make a magical pair.
