Product Story: One giant leap for kitchenware: this teal oval casserole wears Pyrex's "Horizon Blue" pattern, released in 1969 to celebrate the Apollo 11 moon landing. Its crisp opal lid blooms with a cobalt medallion of scrolling flowers and leaves, framed by tab handles built for carrying supper straight from oven to table.
The deep turquoise base grounds the design's graphic charm, a hallmark of the short-lived, highly collectible line Corning pulled from shelves by 1972. More than fifty years later, it still carries that same sparkle, ready to bring a little vintage cosmic glow to your table.
